set in a hidden courtyard just seconds from the bustle of King’s Cross and St Pancras stations. We specialise in barrel-aged drinks, with bespoke designed cocktails as well as centuries old recipes brought up to date with modern mixology techniques. Our cocktails have been aged in wax sealed bottles and oak casks to ensure their richness and ripeness - to replicate the feel of 17th Century drinking.

VOC is named after the Dutch East India Company and the establishment draws on ideas of travel and exploration. The bar is filled with bottles reminiscent of delicious potions; barrels filled with cocktails suspended from the ceiling, antiquated spyglass, huge church candles and exposed brickwork. Tucked under an archway in King’s Cross, it is a jewel of a bar which captures the feel of adventure and discovery.

Guests can enjoy a meal in the restaurant as decadent as the drinking experience. The timeless quality of carefully reared, dry-aged meat is evident in the fine selection of steaks sourced from England's oldest butcher, Allen’s of Mayfair. Spices that were originally brought to Europe by The East India Company are creatively used to great effect in rubs for specific dishes to ensure the superior dining experience that VOC is known for.

Burgers - 100% dry-aged Scottish beef ground on site daily. Served with chips.

Steaks

Our steaks are exquisite, sourced from London’s oldest butcher – Allens of Mayfair. The beef comes from Cairngorm National Park in Scotland and is Dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days for an incredible depth of flavour. They are hand cut on-site, so every steak is exactly how it should be.

Our steaks are served with garden vegetables and a choice of BBQ / Blue cheese sauce / Peppercorn sauce / Wild mushroom sauce.

Exit Kings Cross station onto Euston Road and head straight onto Pentonville Road. Walk past McDonalds on your left and pass Pret a Manger turning immediately left into Regents Corner after Starbucks. Walk past Caminos and turn right into the courtyard. If you carry on too far on Pentonville Road, turn left onto Caledonian Road and then turn left again into Regents Quarter, not long after you pass The Fying Scotsman on your right.

We are a stone’s throw away from King’s Cross / St Pancras station from which the following underground lines run: Victoria, Northern, Hammersmith and City, Circle and Piccadilly. National rail and International connections also run from King’s Cross and St Pancras International.
